Just as few months in

Tepezza team needs to be micromanaged and have metrics. GBU is alive and well! We just got the fq1 bonus plan, and it's great. Very little to no difference plenty of $ to be made. Will be around 400k again this year.

All of the legacy Horizon business units are paid better and doing much better than the Amgen brands. Amgen needed Horizon.

All of us including are plug and play. At least Horizon has strong people with revenue

Horizon was widely known as the dumping ground for people pushed out of Abbvie, Lundbeck and Takeda in the home office.

the field people were the same only from a wider net of cast offs.

You got a second life in a pseudo rare disease environment for a while. That’s over.

Wrong again! Horizon had the higher YoY growth in rare disease. Several companies were vying to purchase Horizon including Sanofi and J&J. Grow up! Better yet, what's your name?

Allow me to reintroduce myself
My name is Hov (oh), H to the O-V
I used to move snowflakes by the O-Z

there are always multiple companies sniffing around when a company puts themselves out there for sale, so what!

you had higher YoY growth in sorta rare disease over who? A company not in rare disease?

you are proving the point, Horizon was where the short bus let off in Chicago.

Horizon was (and still is) the highest-paying company for sales reps. I'm not sure why you think cast-offs- they literally have the pick of the litter when an opening comes open. A few reps make over 500k a year, many over 400k, and almost everyone over 300k. Fact and almost everyone at other companies knows this. I'm not saying we do anything different or life is way harder here vs. any other company- but the fact is we pay the best. Period. Therefore people want to work here. We aren't begging anyone to work here. I make more than any sales director at Pfizer or Lilly. It's not even close. On the Amgen board, they are roasting some Mike Tuller dude on the Amgen cardio side- guarantee that 10-20% of our reps earn more than he does on his best year. The guy sounds like a turd- and if he has been at Amgen for a long time making 350-400k a year he probably is. He probably can't go anywhere else or he would. Our RSU grants will go away eventually, and our bonus may eventually be cut- but we are the top dog right now.

I can't speak to marketing. But most marketing people are going to be on the West or East Coast so that you might have a point for inside people.

Facts! We are paid VERY WELL….while yes the goals and forecasts for Tepezza are ridiculous, I’ll take it and be glad to be here.

Not like how they are doing raises in a lump sum. So next year and every year after I won't get a raise based off a higher salary. Did they really have to be that cheap to save paying me an extra 1k in 2024 raise?

Lump sum raises usually mean your salary is frozen or out of range for your level.
Which is not surprising, given how cheap Amgen is.
