It's hard to imagine a scenario worse than this, but I'm sure one exists. DB is the most universally despised person in the entire company. It's not just sales, everyone I speak to in SF can't stand him. He comes across as self-serving and self-absorbed without even saying a word! There will be a lot of pissed off people if he's named COO. Can you imagine? All functions will be defunded except the beloved CX team.

What has he delivered? Support to an incredible sales organization that exceeded goal last year. This is a great place to be, at a great time!
How judgemental! How can someone come across self serving without talking? You have some kind of agenda. I have found my CX experiences to be very helpful and appreciate that they are here. Look at our most recent performance, things are going great. What's your problem?
My problem are the evIl IDIOTS on the CX team starting with the Old Nurse who used to manage an EP lab who thinks she can manage people smarter than her and come into the field and lose business for us. I hear hey make over $250K just to kiss DB a____. He has to buy people to work with him not to mention his expensive consultants who I am sure he is getting a piece of the action.

+1I'm sorry, but she has deep experience and she knows her shit coming from the industry. Old = experience you idiot. She's been vital to the development of the CX team. Of course DB has taken all the credit, but it's his CX leaders and staff that are doing all the work and making the team and the HPT playbook a real success for this company.
