Lab account managers






The ones I know have been wonderful individuals! They know all about medicine even though they never practiced. That is fantastic when these folk can actually understand medicine w/o ever having seen a patient. I think CSCs should request more information from them. What a wonderful wealth of knowledge they bring to the table. They are little geniuses in my book.
 


Above poster ~ Spot-on! I worked with one and this manager sent me 10 journal articles that were so complicated that I had to have a doctor friend of mine read. He was amazed at the quality of the articles and how applicable they were to real world medicine. They really should work more with CSCs. as they are a great asset for the company. It is such a small world that I ran into quite a few people who all knew them. As you can imagine they all had good things to say.

Yes, you are correct. I worked with one and when the manager left the MD turned to me and said is that your boss? I replied no, just a work colleague. He said good because that manager has no clue and is rude. His staff felt the same way.

Steer clear of these managers. You get them business and then they will pretend to know everything. However, many know this is not the case. Don't get me wrong in that group a few are "ok" but from what I've heard I even question that. They are protected by many higher ups.

K and T take your on going feud elsewhere to the "you both don't work here anymore" listing on CF too many bystands have been hurt. encourage the MD to report bad behavior to management, don't blanket indict a group of people. others--are you adding fuel to the fire?

What "feud"? I can post anything that I want that in no way singles anyone out. Did I? No. Why do you care anyways? We are in lost civies. I will encourage the MD - who is a good friend of mine to file a complaint. Also, I'm sure he will file a complaint with other companies. I'm sorry that "...too many bystands have been hurt" What is many bystands? Who are K and T?

Please provide a link to that listing on CP (not CF). Lab managers are great at many activities.

I believe a handful of lab managers on this board manipulated certain posters to further their own goals. I'm not singling anyone out but I believe this to be true. However, there are some excellent Lab managers. You are very defensive of this team but let other posters walk all over other teams.

My posts for the most part were always an attempt to be constructive and share ideas about improving culture, etc. I must have posted 20 times that the whole business model needed to change. Everyone needed to stop blaming individuals and focus on the fixing the system. Blaming people = cut throat environment that everyone is always walking on egg-shells.

I don't believe that just one individual was involved in all the bullying that took place. I KNOW for a FACT most of the people involved. The horrible and malicious gossip that was spread about certain employees is known to all parties involved. And, It is pretty much unforgivable. It is still continuing and I'm left wondering why? There is a new board to discuss company issues on and this one needs to be buried. Good luck.
