It's going to be a while until this company stabilizes. Do you think IT is the only department in chaos right now? You have one organization that has been in nothing but build-mode for 10 years, and one that has spent the last 6-7 on life support. Some people have had to invent their own jobs just to appear busy, and some have never had a chance to stop and look at the flowers. I think that process is going to come to the former-TPNAers and hope that innovation and flexibility is going to come to the former-TAPers. The weak ones will fall out of either camp, but some of the anchor-people that have stayed around simply because they enjoy the company and culture may also leave.
I don't know how the culture is going to play out here, but I'm pretty sure things are going to change drastically for everyone.
