Legitimate question - why does Supernus avoid sending things in email?

I am genuinely curious. Why does our manager share something on a call, then when asked if he can send us the slide deck or information, he says he can’t?

This has happened multiple times in different scenarios, and it just makes me wonder why they can tell it to us, but they can’t send it to us? I’m sure there is some reason, but I’m new to this, and I was just hoping someone could explain.

They do this because they don’t want any written evidence. If you say that your manager said it, they can say that there is no proof, or that the manager went off script and that’s not company policy. Many managers also don’t send out kudos and/or numbers so that you can’t build a brag book. It’s all about deceit and control with this company.

But what about when they have slides or information that was clearly prepared by the home office?
