Interviewing for an opportunity with this drug...but a little concerned as the position has be open for sometime and you just let people go. I have been in the industry quite awhile, already work at a biotech company, please give me an "insiders" opinion of the current situation. thank you kindly

When the NIH study is completed later this year and shows that Avastin is virtually equal to Lucentis, there will be a real need for reps in the field to admister the kickback/rebate program. NICE in the UK is getting ready to suggest that Avastin be used when there is not an approved indication for it's use in AMD.

Maybe Genentech should go back and not sell Avastin to the compounding pharmacists who make it up for the eye docs. That was a real smart move!
