To become a manager does it require an in house job before you can apply?
As long as you are an asshole it doesn't matter where you come fromTo become a manager does it require an in house job before you can apply?

If you are a RFT, try having an affair with your mentor.
No, you may be hired directly as a manager provided you meet the usual requirements (brown nose, always obey your boss in particular when he does not tell you what to do, make sure not to think for yourself -if you can't help it be sure never to express your thoughts-) you're in for a great manager career. Go for it.
Or just be in the boys club, led by the one and only little guy at the top.
People like you are hilarious. Everyone else who gets promoted must not deserve it, but you are so great, yet still toiling as a lowly DCS. HILARIOUS! Thanks for giving me a good laugh. The people who get promoted deserve it based upon their performance and their skills. You haven't gotten promoted because you simply aren't good enough. Grow up.

Er Dude - if you believe that, then you are in for a brutal wake up call later in your delusional self-made but in reality *ss-Licking career. You will know this when the coat tails of your latest but% hole supplier flaps you in the face. The lowly DCS as you so scathingly put it, is way better than you- the mere minion of an RBD scum. We have new managers on board that have quickly realized that they are out of their element but who are crazy, seedy and crafty enough to spin a web of lies and cover their own illegal misdemeanors. So know this you swollen headed prig, those lowly DCS are good enough, but chose to develop skills of pride and self-esteem much unlike the ones you refined, like sucking bu%#holes and polishing your nose in the excrement of another higher pay grade employee who is no better than you.
Are you new to the industry? Are you new to Novo? You are sadly mistaken. Rarely in this company and this industry do you get promoted based on your performance and skills. Its who you know not what you know. Just look at ERTU and CROB, two perfect examples.People like you are hilarious. I'm not new to Novo and I'm not new to the industry. People like you are a dime a dozen--you get passed up for promotion, and you have no self-awareness of your mediocrity, so it must be a "good old boys" club. You're ridiculously stupid. Kepp blaming everyone else in the world for your problems and see how far that gets you.
And FYI--just because you may not like your manager doesn't mean he/she didn't deserve the promotion. Nowhere on anyone's ACE review is a measurement of being liked. If you're good, you get promoted. If not, you don't. That's true in any industry you will ever work in. Grow up and face that fact or plan to spend the next 30 years of your working life convinced you are getting screwed.
If what you say is true, that "If you're good you get promoted, if not you don't" then why is the phrase "It's not WHAT you know it's WHO you know" so common?
