So as an investor, I am here to ask for an honest evaluation from employees on Mark & his management. I would prefer it if fellow investors REFRAIN FROM POSTING SO WE CAN HAVE A BETTER INSIDE PERSPECTIVE ON WHAT IS GOING ON. Feel free to respond anonymously.
 


As an employee AND a shareholder it is a cluster. Management is on some egotistical power trip! They are ignoring the field when we give feedback that is IF we give feedback, because given the chance nobody is speaking up for fear of retaliation. They are letting people go almost daily it seems and when only 10 or so territories are at or over 100% to goal that should tell you something about goals.
There are zero resources when it comes to access and pull through for anything other than commercial which in turn is causing frustration for the field and offices.
New management is completely clueless as to the disease state, the market, and it is coming off as insensitive to offices in a time of COVID resurgence.
The check the box mentality is completely unmotivating, and most if not all that aren't new are looking to leave.
Many are tired with all the pivots and offices are confused.
 




As a shareholder it truly surprises me who Kala has hired. Maybe there are financial issues, but the people who are hired vs the people they don’t hire show the true demise of the company. I don’t believe it is financial though given what they pay reps. Seems like a LOT of bad management!!

the executives are all in Hawaii on a company paid trip this week. All you need to know.

This is a true dereliction of their duties. Who went? Which executives are partying on the shareholders dime?
 






What a load of bullshit that the new area director out here in the west gets to go to Hawaii on the company dime when the rest of us are struggling for scraps or bonus because we can’t come close to these ridiculous goals. Worst culture ever here.

And who needs to spend 30k on Dragonf!y to manage you vacation? Can’t you lift the booze to your lips by yourself?

manager is so bad. Completely disengaged, has no idea what they’re talking about. Can’t even articulate the technology that is inside these products. Comes to field visits late, sits on their phone the entire time, and then leaves early. Who hires these people!?
 




After everything Kevan has put this sales force through, I hope he never gets hired again. Firing seasoned Oph reps and hiring managers that don’t know crap about the space and have you fooled. Kevan, you SUCK. You don’t deserve your job. We have come to you directly multiple times. What do you do with the eight hours in your day?? Nothing worth your wages. I hope it is painful for you to find other employment. It would be exactly what you deserve
 








First of all we need to celebrate our winners. You can’t send them alone. Second the Hawaii is actually in the West directors geo so don’t assume the worst. The rest of these comments are pretty valid.
