A conference call threatening sales reps and telling them "this isn't hard folks get out there and sell or else" is NOT productive!
The people you are promoting to marketing to assist with sales training and product development/promotion do NOT know what they are doing. You cannot assist the sales force effectively with individuals not experienced or possess the knowledge/skills for this position. Promoting the best AVAILABLE person does NOT ensure Lincare is getting the best person for the position.
Yes, you are correct my job is to go out and repair the relationships, overcome obstacles and grow the business. And I have a track record of doing this very well with Lincare. I actually care about my job, my co-workers, the patients and the direction of this company. My "complaints' as you refer to them is calling out others publicly. There are individuals in marketing and corporate who have a very vague notion of what is truly going on out in the field. Specifically the problems with MDINR are not fixed!! I refuse to go into a referral source and lie to them that all is good within MDINR!!
Oh and I know what your response will be to this post "discuss this with your AM". Been there done that, and even taken it two steps beyond. NADA....

So I may have offended you and others. Instead of taking it personally and getting defensive, listen to what I am trying to communicate to you and use it as an opportunity to look at the business more closely and grow professionally.
If you cannot or will not make an effort to understand this, then I am done with you and I hope you move on to another company.
