Saying Always Be Closing is a nice attempt to masquerade as a sales manager. While every rep AND manager should close on each and every call to boil it down to ABC as the answer to what makes a sales person successful is ridiculous and paints you as a true ass clown.
If you can't make your number you need to reach out to your manager and others for advice and assistance. Replacing a rep is time consuming; difficult; and has no guarantee that the next rep will fare better. There is no upside to open territories so saying find another career confirms you as either an ignorant person or an outsider stirring the pot.
When reps do poorly the manager and the company do poorly. Conversely when reps are successful we all shine. Genoptix has always treated its employees great and when we all work together we can make great things happen.
