I love being evaluated based upon test taking and reach and frequency. I've always been a great test taker and I've never been one to handle the pressures of quotas really well. When I'm taking the on-line assessments I just Google everything and have my PIs in front of me. I also have a few colleagues who take phone pics of each question and send them out.
And because of the size of my territory (very small), I am done by noon everyday (unless I have a lunch which I usually do not attend). I work an average of 3 hours per day and my offices love me because I am not hammering them over the head with the pressure to write (even though they wouldn't be writing anyway because of the Vanos card and Clobex's preferred tier position).
Lastly, my Boss and I have worked together for a long time and have a great relationship with him so I think it will be tough for him to give me a bad evaluation. I set up appointments with my offices before he comes and rides with me and I just let them know to engage me in conversation because it is nothing more than a dog and pony show. Then I promise them lunch the next day or bring them candy/cupcakes from their favorite places.
My base is over 90K, bonus will be 20-30, I have a free car /phone and computer and I've cut my child care in half because my son only has to stay until 12:30 everyday. Complain away people but life is good when you work for GSK! Thank you Charlie!
