"Genoptix is an innovative company with a talented team of people who share our commitment to transforming the way medicine is practiced. By integrating Genoptix within Novartis, we can greatly enhance the value we add to patients, clinicians, payors and society."
I can not think of a statement that better describes Genoptix. However, change is here. *
Miraca pays doctors for samples.
Doctors are joining hospitals to survive and are forced to send to other labs.
Genoptix does not have contracts with managed care.
I fail to see how any of this is the fault of the reps. If you were told that Genoptix is a great company, did the same crew of PhDs, Master's and Doctorate degree Einstein's tell you that the above pose a risk to its future growth?
I am sure you were aware of this, so why not create a plan to fix it. *Changing sales reps will not fix the problem. No doctor will go back to Genoptix while it is getting money from Miraca, no doctor will send to Genoptix while the hospital is *telling them to send to it's own labs, not to mention getting contracts with managed care.
As for the consultants that you are getting to help wi the situation, why not send them into the field and get a doctor back that has left due to the above reasons. *I am sure that all your reps would follow the same plan.
