Prediction is over 100 (maybe 103?) because it's a lagging indicator of where the business really is and because they altered the corporate scorecard to show us doing better than we actually are. My boss told me VP LTI grants changed and almost all of their payout is dependent on fluctuations in the stock price, which is shit, so they are going to end up with way lighter paydays. To account for that and make sure there isn't a vp exodus (which would actually probably be a good thing) they are padding the corporate scorecard results. You could say that if the stock price continues to decline, maybe it's right that the people in charge of that do make less, but pretty sure they disagree.
