Any legit info on the ped formula jobs here...Culture, Pay, Bonus ( Avg amts, obtainable ) etc. Upper Management & Marketing Support? Etc. Etc.

Yes, I know Abbott has tons of market share and Mean Johnson. Where is Nestle in this mix?

Appreciate the info.

Lousy culture. Upper management has set sales up to fail. Don't trust them. Market share is declining- it's 4th behind private label. The marketing support has virtually disappeared. Decent base and bonus potential, but bonus is unattainable. Abbott and Mead own the hospital and retail business. And Extensive is a me-too in the market.

How about the comp? I'm an RN and looking at the NC opening. I need 90k plus in base to consider the work. Is that a reasonable amount here?

How is this market and the southern region - and local and regional managers?

NC has had a lot of turnover. Market manager is good, but manager/director are awful. It's a train wreck. Honestly, I don't see them coming close to 90K. So-so pay for taking on a losing battle with poor management.

i cant believe nestle is opened up this peds nutrition division again. I worked at a nestle nutrition division 20 years ago that was an utter failure. Every other decade nestle wants in hospital or home care markets and dabbles. Tried to go up against big boys at Abbott and Mead to no avail. Interesting to see it recycle

Wow! So they already failed at this before. I'm interviewing for nutritional position and wondering if it's a good idea. How long will did they give it a try last time (20 years ago)?

They've made multiple attempts over the last 20 years, and they end the same. There isn't any competent management there, so you end up with bad decision after bad decision. It's only a matter of time before they pull the plug again.

It isn't whether the NC or Atlanta managers are competent. They aren't. It's whether they're willing to toe the company line and do what upper management wants. If they do their bidding, a bad manager will stick for quite some time. Those people weren't promoted on merit to begin with- it was how well they kissed up.
