Hospira is aggressively investing resources into our global LEAN Manufacturing initiative and is looking to hire LEAN LEADERS nationwide. As a LEAN LEADER with Hospira, your responsibilities will include:
· Supporting the global implementation of LEAN in Hospira manufacturing facilities worldwide.
· Working with the senior manufacturing leadership team, Facility Managers and their Staffs, and employees at all organizational levels to train, develop and instill LEAN concepts throughout the organization.
· Driving the design of site specific LEAN implementation plans.
· Training and mentoring employees in LEAN, executing transformational activities (mini-T’s, etc.)
· Establishing metrics and methods to assure they are tracked on an on-going basis
· Assisting in the implementation of specific actions and projects to optimize facility performance.
The LEAN Leader must have the leadership capability and communication skill necessary to achieve results through others.
Candidates must be flexible to travel nationally 80-90% of the time to support LEAN as the roll-out progresses from site to site. Candidates can be based anywhere in the US but preferably close to any of our US manufacturing sites (Rocky Mount, NC; Clayton, NC: McPhearson, KS; Morgan Hill, CA; Austin, TX; Boulder, CO; Buffalo, NY
or near Hospira’s headquarters location in Ilinois.
