New bard fms

Just saw the new BARD product, i am going to go home now and work on my resume because there is no way I can sell against that.

Most of the convatec fms in my old territory (I now work for *********) has already moved to Bard--what's so special about the new Bard? anyway, 'bout time you work on your resume. Job market in medical device industry is picking up with much better opportunities out there then the hopeless convatec. How was the NSM? A hoot, I'm sure!

I've seen it too. If you don't think you can sell fms against this pathetic rewrapped version dignicare, a device that is already recognized as being far inferior to FMS, then you need to get out of the industry. FMS is still---and by--far superior device. We won't miss you. Pretty sure you're an inferior Bard rep anyway... Enjoy the layoffs at Bard. Convatec FMS is the standard of care in this category---and will remain so.

Nope, not a BARD rep. But nice try. And I'm pretty sure just because were first to getting a product to market, it doesn't guarantee that we will remain the standard of care.

This conversation makes me laugh - FlexiSeal: The Standard in Rectal Necrosis! But I'll let the two of you duke it out

I think you have things mixed up Its the Bard DigniStiff Rectal Cone (DRC) that potentiates Rectal Necrosis. FMS is standard of care because the retention balloon is soft and and does not have rough edges like DRC.

FMS is well established as Best in Class...Everyone knows this now go back to the Bard site and wait for more layoffs and bitch about your inept management team. Flexi-Seal will remain the market leader!

You are right--FMS is better and safer than the misFIT me-too imitation from Bard. However, what has impeded our success as a company, killed our morale, and stunted our growth since divestiture is that we are owned by foreign blood-suckers who have installed a puppet leadership clique ineptly led by a Dunderhead with a Sail Boat. A Dunderhead who relies on the advice of duplicitous characters like MD, Peter Principle graduates like BB, and a host of field sales managers obsessed with keeping their jobs by sacrificing members of their TM team. We're a mess...

THOSE are the issues blunting our success, not the crap Bard is putting on the market! Ably led we could rule the wound, skin, continence care, and ostomy marketplace...not likely any time soon under the current ownership/management model.

LOL! A Dunderhead indeed!!

Isn't "dunderheadism" a requirement for advancement at Convatec? At least Dave pulled off the sale of the century for us BMS shareholders. Sold a load of my BMS this year at $34 a share--when we were sold to Nordic almost 3 years ago the share price was maybe $18. Dave deserves much of the kudos for my delicious profit sucking an extra 3 billion from Nordic into the BMS coffers which sparked the rejuvenation of BMS... it just goes to show that a stopped clock is right, but only twice a day. No wonder Dave's our leader!
