Already problems arising. CFO totally pissed and lambasting the controller who will not start until January 16. Did he expect him to start on Christmas Eve?

Also new controller is getting married in late December.

Hope the wife is o-Kay that he will be working 21 hour days.

Can’t wait to see this play out.

MB just wanted him to start in December so he wouldn’t have to do any work for quarter.

Last CFO was smart and did not focus on stupid things. He may not have been liked by all, but there were people were loyal to him and respected him.
No loyalty and respect = turnover.

The last Controller MB hired last 1 year. He left on his own, but he should have been let go long before that. MB was told by many there was a problem and chose to ignore it, keeping him around because of his ethnicity.
Bad decisions and not fixing issues = turnover.

He can blame the economy all hie wants for the turnover, but he should look in a mirror. Mark my words, the new Controller will not last long.

I don't know, new controller will more than likely stay past your tenure. You see, office bully = expense, and in more ways than one. All "adult version of mean kids on the playground" office bullies should be actively job searching. Hard.

Easy solution...move the entire Taro accounting operation to Princeton, or even Mumbai. Close the second floor and rent it out to PepsiCo---only after we have a proper exorcism done to rid us of the fat bully jive.

This is BS as MB was still interviewing candidates as of today.
If it is true, then you just revealed yourself because only MB's admin and H/R would know the details about the new controller's personal life and schedule.
