I’ve been holding my tongue on talking about how insensitive and self-serving our virtual activities have been since covid-19 shutdowns began. Now this? You people have lost your fucking minds. You are proving that you are the most incompetent group of people that have ever been in charge of a pharma sales force.

Virtual detailing is insensitive and self-serving?

It amazes me how often people complain on here! It’s insensitive you have been asked to work? Would you rather be out of a job like many other Pharma reps are right now?

Pick up the phone and make phone calls for two hours a day like the rest of us and be thankful you were retained. I’ve had plenty of physicians happy to do a virtual lunch and excited to use Jatenzo.

I know a rep who got a letter from a doctor that said any rep who attempts to promote product during this pandemic will be permanently banned from the office.

First rule of medicine is “do no harm”

No, it’s “don’t take one step forward if it takes you two steps back”

What do you want? Unemployment? Working a few hours from home is asking too much. Sounds like everyone should just sit idle until offices open and company is awful for trying to find ways to keep you employed and engaged in activities that allow them pay your salary and benefits.

You are insane. So if one office tells you they don’t interact with reps do you stop calling on the rest of your territory based on one office’s policies? Stop using one-off situations to justify how lazy you are. This is not hard stuff!

Exactly! Don’t forget also ensuring we are still bonus eligible. Geez, what a terrible company!

Folks, just so you know, this is Dudley himself posting here. Leadership and motivation skills on display.

A post from the Amgen board. They gets it.

Oh yes, it’s so awful here in oncology. $182k base, working from home without pressure to reach out to customers due to the COVID 19 crisis, bonus paid out at 100% until we are back in the field again, and one of the best 401k plans in the industry. Yep- it’s absolutely horrible here. Haha!

many companies recognize that harassing doctors who are now being told to take a pay cut and forgo bonuses in efforts to keep their office staff from being laid off is the short term reality. Trying to push your agenda when they are all facing serious issues with patient access, what is essential/non-essential and how to get paid for for many offices a major shortfall of revenue, all the industry we work is not essential. Best you keep quiet and let this ride out as long as you can.

Your expectation is for a company launching its first product to be able to match a company that made $20 billion in profit? All things considered, my manager and the leadership have all been supportive and not beating anyone up on metrics. Launching a company is not for everyone.
