to post number 21--yes I signed on to have a job. i got screwed, I get that. But my number one priority was to supporting my family, Thats what I have told recruiters. They have had no issue with that ,

As long as recruiters make their commission they don't care. They all know about Esperion especially when so many had candidates at finals back in Jan and Feb and were also lied to by Esperion. It's easy to explain to potential employers what happened here as I've gotten the eyes rolling from future employer also about Esperion.

Anyone know if Esperion will go after people who leave with the non-compete? I had a lawyer review and said it is VERY broad, and for 12 months, but it depends on if Esperion decides to go after people, or decides to let people leave on their own and pursue a better opportunity. I have one of those opportunities, but can't go anywhere, or find an opportunity that doesn't compete with CVD or "Metabolism" Since almost EVERYTHING impacts metabolism! I just want out. But can't go anywhere else apparently until Esperion cuts us, or gives us a broad release from non-compete. I know it doesn't apply in California, but it does apply almost everywhere else. Thoughts?

Only Novartis will stay away from you with the non-compete. Like many posters have stated "compete with what." Esperion is no threat to any company other than themselves. I would just move on and not tell Esperion where your going..let them do the legwork if there hell bent on screwing you. Time is on your side as this company will be folding up its tent soon enough. Awful culture, very below average drug, no place in market, non-existent volume.

Why did they make you sign it for employment ?
Sounds rather defensive ?
Don't trust You ?
Want to control you ?

Again , the culture speaks volumes.
All big companies want to control. Bullying.
Stick up the middle finger and go on.

No non-compete clause with Esperion stock as its virtually worthless. Whatever pension boards or investment houses that bought into Esperion shame on you for putting people's pensions at risk. This is like watching a semi -truck tanker filled with Hydrochloric Acid crashing into a cement overpass.

This place sucks, but I have no where else to go yet. I am doing my job while I am here, even though there is not much bonus to be made. I am still grateful to be paid my base, and have benefits, for as long as that lasts. Anyone that wants to post recruiters or companies hiring for Q4-Q1 would be appreciated.
