Johnson & Johnson said Friday it is recalling about 400 injection pens in the United States and Germany pre-loaded with a rheumatoid arthritis drug because of a manufacturing issue.
The injection pens contain Simponi, a drug developed by Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) subsidiary Centocor Ortho Biotech of Horsham, Pa.
The pens are being recalled because of a manufacturing problem that may result in the device failing to deliver a full dose of the medicine.
