NSM Disaster

My guess is Axsome didn’t pull a bunch of managers over have them quit their jobs without full confirmation they had a drug to sell. I would say that seems responsible but what do I know. Takes a minute to get them all here and then it takes a few more to then have them hire full teams. But y’all know it all so much better it seems.

Hopefully, they make better picks than some of the vamps trolling here. Yuck. Auvelity should have been added to the buffet lines in Vegas. On that- there is an easy something to fix for next year. Give us one night non-hotel and a bit more breathing room in general. Everyone came home a little worn out (or sick). That’s easy though!

NSM shit show. Treated us like first time pharma reps, wouldn't put tables in rooms cause new boss said we couldn't focus. Zero free time, BS simulation that went to 7pm, oh ya then everyone gets the flu...good times
They didn't provide tables to save money. The new finance hires, Eaton Beaver and Jack Hoff required this. Overall, meeting wasn't bad for a wannabe pharma company. Plenty of alcohol so that was a highlight. Someone really enjoyed the NSM, the headboard in the room next to me was banging all night long!

Sorry for keeping you up all night. But at least you were entertained with some spank content.

That said, we should applaud some of the new hires. Definitely an upswing in ‘talent’ over the usual cast of characters.

The situation SFM is a serious concern. A work environment has been created where questioning senior management decisions results in being labeled as negative and disillusioned. Decisions impacting patients – their mental well-being and potentially their lives – are being made retroactively and without field input. It's also troubling that experienced, award-winning psychiatry representatives are being treated as if they lack basic knowledge of their roles, including total office calls and HCP education. The idea of RBDs with no psychiatric experience training these seasoned professionals is frankly absurd. The significant talent drain, both past and ongoing, speaks volumes. Furthermore, the sales operations issues and the fact that only a third of the sales representatives achieved their 2024 goals suggest deeper problems that require immediate attention. Dismissing these issues would be almost as big mistake as hiring you!
Our district is being encouraged to be on Auvelity and talk about experience on CC .
Sorta of a loyalty show? So sick

It also speaks volumes to what a compliance train wreck this is. They don’t want complaints, they just want you to keep making false claims to pump up the stock.

The culture is not all that concerning to those who don’t lean towards bitching and complaining at the slightest opportunity. The majority of those people are always the most active on this forum, of course. Can certain things be adjusted as Axsome grows-of course they can. As far as the exits last year, go chat with some of our friends who bounced. Regrets galore. Razzle dazzle and throwing money and promises around up front is usually necessary when the longer term won’t be so hot. The smart ones (including many yes-psych reps-who are still here) saw that for what is was. There are examples of full teams still here. This likely has a lot to do with local managers and there are some really good ones here. If your manager posted a pic of your team and that bothers you LOL. you are probably the team drain that we all would rather not have sticking around. Go sell. And yes get a clue and be happy about the stock price, too.
When a pharma rep says “go sell” they just lose all credibility

You’ve never sold anything in your life

Oh and you are a true sales pro? Run along you black pot .
Hahaha lifetime pharma bros get so pissed at this reality!!! And no, I haven’t been a true sales pro ever since I left real sales and went into pharma “sales” — which is technically pharma marketing.

No need to get mad at reality dude
