Humor me. Next time the non retail-report comes out, filter volume from largest to smallest. BioPlus specialty pharmacy in Alamonte Springs, FL by far takes the cake in volume. Now, look to see which territory(s) it's aligned to. Then, have a laugh!! LOL That's just the tip of the corruption iceberg. Please, someone, anyone....explain to me why a nationally rated retail specialty pharmacy in FLORIDA is being completely realigned to San Antonio and Austin!?!?!
Why Choose Us? -
Not to mention the cities getting credit for Amazon's Pill Pack's distribution centers. Which are also national pharmacies receiving scripts from all over the country.
Yet these are the territories that keep winning......over and over and over....
So demotivating....

Sales reporting at Salix has been sketchy for five years. As soon as we moved to the Valeant sales operations system, it’s been a joke. Tons of unassigned scripts due to non-reporting pharmacies and they don’t even try to follow them and give credit. You need a specialty pharmacy that reports. Shove all your scripts through there and you will win.
Dear Sir,
Click the following link, Therapies -, then click get referral form. Once you have the referral PDF open, navigate down to the bottom and you will read the following:
“Your signature authorizes BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy Services, Inc., and their network of pharmacies, MedScripts Medical Pharmacy, River Medical Pharmacy, and Route 300 Pharmacy (the “BioPlus Pharmacies”), to act on your behalf to obtain prior authorization for the prescribed medications. We will also pursue available copay and financial assistance on behalf of your patients.
BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy 376 Northlake Blvd., Altamonte Springs, FL 32701
BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy 100 Southcenter Ct. Suite 100, Morrisville, NC 27560
MedScripts Medical Pharmacy 1325 Miller Rd. Suite K, Greenville, SC 29607
River Medical Pharmacy 4752 Research Drive, San Antonio, TX 78240
Route 300 Pharmacy 1208 Route 300 Suite 103, Newburgh, NY 12550”
Is it unlawful for a specialty pharmacy to act on behalf of a physician and/or physician’s office to obtain prior authorizations for prescribed medications?
I feel like half the managers (if not more) at Salix would do the EXACT same thing as MM. there’s no way to succeed at this company without the help of specialty Pharmacy. All
The managers know it too. But will deny it if “caught”’. Not cool bro
Can we please hear more about the corruption iceberg? Also, can we link any of this to Papa?
Interesting Fact: those other four BioPlus affiliates mentioned on that form, are also aligned to San Antonio and Austin. Interesting fact, seeing how the company says they are not provided physician level data from these pharmacies. According to the “business rules”, shouldn’t these pharmacies be aligned to the territory in which they are physically located??
Things that make you go hmmmmm????
It was all brought to light with compliance and legal in 2018 and 2019. All the managers in that region and some of the reps were interviewed. What did they do with the information? Nothing. Compliance standards are applied only when they (sales leadership) want you out.
