I need to file a serious complaint with The OEC and the government. I’ve heard rumors (been flat out threatened) that I will be career “blacklisted” if I do call in- I will never be able to find a job again in this industry. How can this be possible? Isn’t this illegal? I was told if I see or witness anything illegal/off-label/fraudulent/etc, I HAVE to report it. I’m so confused!!!

Walk me through this process por favor....
 


Abbott wants to know what you are alerting the government to.

No one can “blacklist” you for reporting and alerting a company to fraud that’s going on within their org. Anyone who threatens you with being “blacklisted” is running a high risk of being personally sued- and if they follow through with the threat, even to the slightest degree, you can legally go after them personally- their assets, PENSION, etc.
