why do you guys keep losing sales reps. docs that I call on are wondering where their cylex rep is,

CAn anyone past or present tell me whether i should apply for one of the rep openings? I am in the same area and interested but this is now two reps that have left in the past year or so.

The problem with this company is they only have 1 test and it's not a very good test. The company never invested in the appropriate studies to validate it's us. The problem the reps face is the results are so non-specific that the drs don't really know how to use the information and therefore, you are constantly justifying it's use. That's why I left. I saw business eroding b/c my customers were starting to question what clinical significance was provided by using immuknow.
You can make $120k/yr at Cylex but it's a grind and not fun. This company needs to hope it suckers someone in to purchasing it and actually finding some clinical viability for Immuknow.

That's the 411 over here at BMS from talking with ex reps. There is alot more to the story about that place. Hard to believe they couldn't keep these guys or didn't want them.

The word in teh barber shiop is ur company lets personalities get in the way of sound business conduct. The stories we are hearing are priceless. People are dispensable numerous reps in my area in the last few years. The faith of the account base is teetering that's what my clients say. As Obama would say if it looks like a pig with lipstick?
 




I am just curious as to how you thought that was an off-label communcation? Is it just because you don't know big words?

they shopped law firms until they got an answer they wanted and could defend. nother large customer stopped using the test. reps over here say this is what they said two years ago and what was pulled back for a year.
 


If this test did what RK PHD claims it does shouldn't this be a slam dunk success by now--seven years right? Why hasn't some savvy business bought this product? Maybe new sales people will make the difference, to steal a phrase from when the same era this was conceived.

RK is a good guy, very bright and I'm sure the only reason he's still with Cylex is he has a boatload of options and that's he's invested like 7 years with them hoping immuknow would work.
it's not that the test doesn't work, if does what it says it will do, but it's how to use that info that's been poorly communicated.
The biggest problem is when Brad and Doug got rid of Petruny. He's the only guy that knew how to place this test in the market but they let him go and now you've got people with no transplant experience trying to sell a test into the transplant market.

Or is it the ever changing promotional claims? stuff is being said now that couldn't be said a few years ago but could be said for 6 years. what changed? What study shows testing close to 20 times a year? It predicts infection now? What happened to rejection? keep counsel close by. Another new sales vp? Third one in three years. omg.
