Our launch brands will bring in billions, just keep giving us money and dont ask any questions !
We are now the players here. The day has finally come.
MedZeneca is a name being tossed around as AZ wants to be transformed into a Biotech company and away from pharmaceuticals. Hurray for us, we have been called the red headed step child for long enough. We have blossomed into the compnay that will lead this new biotech venture into the future. Get rid of all of the AZ sales and marketing departments as well as the sales force and become a leaner and meaner competitor.
Uhhhh...not gonna happen my Medi friend. Remember, we BOUGHT you, not the other way around. AZ will throw you guys to the wind and will never look back. YOU GUYS have the most to worry about, I promise you!

I beg to differ. Gone are the old ways and days of traditional Pharma....(i.e. AZ), Biotech is the new game. Having AZ leaders try to convert to Biotech marketing and sales just wont cut it. I Promise You That! My MedImmune Brother and sisters, We arein the drivers seat, Pascol has many contacts over here and he knows we are the chosen ones. We can do much more with less.
And Roche bought Genentech. Ever see the Roche name anymore in the US. Dear old Pascal was responsible for the demise of a once great company in Genentech
So you guys think you are in the drivers seat huh? tell me, how much does Medi contribute to AZ's bottom line? When was the last major drug launch for Medi? Hmmm? can't come up with a whole lot of examples huh? Didn't think so.
Medi has delivered financials year in and out despite market challenges and our pipe is dramatically stronger than AZ. You are the past - Medi is the future.
When, Nostradamus?
I fear the competition between Medi and AZ will tear the company apart. Its a pity that Medi employees seem to want their AZ colleagues out of their jobs and sites shut when all AZ has done is let Medi operate as before the buy out.
Myself I think there is good and bad in both and we should look to take the best of both forward. Nothing good will come of shutting sites.[/
AZ has not let medi operate as it . Changes imposed at medi were many (poor vendors, poor control over partners such as marketing companies, outsourcing and elim of jobs) Agree the us vs them must stop. We can't be successful if not working together. Most of it childish turf stuff.
