Pay for performance

Sounds like Culture of Accountability. But the only problem is that the ünder performers will get penalized and the over achievers will get nothing. People are leaving in droves and all inexperienced newbies coming in. I hope they can get up to speed quick. I have a feeling that they will be toast if not producing in a relatively short period of time.

The word is that anyone under 95% to quota will be shown the door, especially the "dinasours"!

Probably some truth to that. I do know they start looking at you if you are not at least 95% of quota. I'm sure it is a case by case scenario; replacing reps is an expensive endeavor. I doubt you will be fired if you have a history of making your quota and have 1 down year. Saying that, "dinosaurs" making a large base will be looked at closer, I'm sure.

Hold on to your wallets!!! At the end of March, the upper slime will institute an equalization of base pay program. The target is around $85K, so those above will see a serious pay cut. Oh! but wait.. I'm sure you can make up the difference with a lucrative commission on the exciting new product, Quik Clip!

Stop spreading rumors Jackass. Go find a new job.

"Equalization" so what does that mean? All the new hire ADP'ers and enterprise rent a wreck sales people (I use that term loosely for them) are going to get a bump up to $85k to help with the equalization. Come on. I don't see that happening, but what the heck do I know, about the same as you. Not much. Will just have to wait and see. If that's the case then I'm sure that K-C will accomplish a goal to lose more seasoned people and replace them with more newbies. Whatever the case is I hope KC accomplishes whatever it is that they are looking for. It could actually be a win-win situation. Management can get rid of some people that they want and others that always bitch and moan might take some action and leave.

Good luck.

Evidently you missed the conference call with each region. Those making less than $85K will not get a raise, those making over $100K base salary will take a big hit. No rumor, just fact!

I guess many people missed that call because nobody has any idea about this. If its true, it won't affect many. Not many here making over $100k base in devices at least.

Let me clear this up since none of you appear to know what the hell you are talking about.

Kimberly-Clark Corp....in Dallas...compared our salaries, company wide, not just heallthcare, to other similar companies. I heard health care companies were included. An average salary was established for all levels and that is the "baseline".

If your salary for your position is 75% higher than the median average you may take a pay cut. However many people who never had a chance to make a bonus will now be eligible for a yearly corporate wide bonus (Percentage to be determined by Tom Falk).

Example...if the average salary for your type of job is $50,000...and you make $87,500, chance are you will take a reduction in your salary. This affects very few people, so relax.

The good news is, if you fall well below the average, you may actually be eligible for a pay increase.

The bonus and potential salary increases will be based on where you fall in the new "4 box" performance review.

Bottom line, everyone relax, chances are you will not be affected at all.

The only person relaxing is Tom Falk as he picks your pocket. Tell me what medical devices that Coca Cola and Proctor & Gamble make??? So those who get pay cuts can have an opportunity to get it back of a matter of years.

Pizer is laying off their entire sale force because they have nothing new to sell. Does this sound familiar? Watch for a reduction in head count in devices as we are in the same boat as Pizer.

You are right on! Why would KC pay reps to maintain two products, Trach Care and Mickey that have been around for over twenty years? They could sell Quik Clip with telemarketin and a drastically reduced sales force. Old Tom Falk isn't stupid, just a turd, and can see how a downsizing will enhanced the bottom line.
