People getting fired...

This is the NNI way of reducing sales force without having a lay-off. No lay-off = no severance.

Being they aren't leaving any territories open or merging multiple territories into one, your theory is wrong. Headcount isn't going down. Sorry. Plus, why would Novo need to lay off? Is it those 38 consecutive quarters of double digit growth?

The wrong people are getting fired! They continue to shove quality and ethics down our throats, yet Mike Jaffe, a manager in Medical Information, working as a pharmacist at NN, was writing and stealing his own prescriptions from Walmart where he USED to work part time until they fired him. He LOST his pharmacy license, yet continues to work at Novo, with just a slap on the wrist and the backing of his sneaky manager, who used to work for HIM until she got him into Novo - something rotten in Denmark?????

Saw this same post on another thread. No one cares.

Bottom line is you will be removed if you can't or won't sell. Not a hard concept to grasp. With any other job, if you are not doing the job, you get fired. What's so hard to understand about that? Victoza has been out almost 2 years and the company wants market share. We all know we should have the market share with a clinically superior product. Managed care continues to become positive and some territories still cannot move share. Don't know about you, but that tells me the reps in that geography can't sell. Got nothing to do with management, although they are easy targets to blame when things are not going well.

Wrong people getting fired? I think not. Get your ass in gear or you're next.
