Has anyone had their discussion with their manager on where you fit in regards to “attitude”(Y axis) and “aptitude”(X axis)? This looked like a bad idea when I first heard of it. I think it’s going to ruin trust and relationships between managers and reps even more. I can’t find a win win situation with this thing. A Coach is your developmental tool. This DOT stuff looks like something that someone thought off during a “growth gig” that everyone hated but felt obliged to roll it out in the spirit of DEI.
