I was given 2 for performance this year, even my numbers are growing and above 50%. I heard many people are getting 2. Is it an across the company thing?
I cannot agree more. I got a two last year - my first ever in a decade. The person that gave it to me moved on after it read it to me! I had no recourse and when I tried to switch divisions, I was told I could not because if had to get out of the "2". Complete BS, but, I have been looking for a better gig. Not just to jump, but a REAL upgrade. Jumping is easy, REAL upgrades are harder. But, right after I get my bonus payout - I AM OUT!!!!! The 2 is a death sentence.Not knowing anything else, it’s hard to say. Just remember these scales are set up to create fear in you. No matter how well you do in any category it won’t be enough. It is an old school way of managing that still works on some employees. Best way to fight it is to politely ask for reasons why, and look for another job.

We know you and you should have received a lowly 1. Being in the same territory for 10 years indicates a lack of ambition and a sloth-like approach to your job. We all hope you will be leaving ASAP. Unfortunately, pharma sales is populated by so many losers like you.So I have a theory that our leaders are not reporting all of our sales. I know my territory better than anyone at Abbvie. I have been covering the same area for 10 years and have some solid relationships. I know for a fact that my accounts are purchasing more than is being reported. How about less than 20 hours per week for a 80 to 100k salary!! Appreciate your truthful post.Fraud alert! The system is rigged to this industry's advantage. In many industries, people work 60 to 80 hours per week for a 50 to 70k salary. In this industry, people work less than 40 hours per week for a 80 to 100k salary. The sloth is pharma. You might argue that your products increase the quality of life rather than life expectancy. You'd be wrong. While life expectancy is flat to decreasing, try working 60 to 80 hours per week and tell me about your quality of life.

You are major contributors to the downfall of the USA.Honestly it’s a dumb ass job. Even the smartest people here are not needed. Just follow the process and you should be good. They need us until they have a better solution.

You couldn’t work a full 40 hrs if you tried. It is not reality. If you are in sales at this level, they should be paying you for expertise, not hours.
