Saw there is an opening in Phoenix and thought I would try and get some background info. Did the rep leave or get fired? How is the manager there, micro of hands off. How big are your territories, does it extend down to Tucson? Finally, is this a good company to work for such as being stable or has there been downsizing? Thanks in advance for all serious replies.
 

She left for a job giving her almost a 25% raise with four weeks of vacation and no travel. She was a great rep. The same thing happened to a top rep who went to work with Vertex with a $30K+ raise. There are a few more getting ready to leave for great opportunities. They just don't give proper salaries or vacation benefits to people who have stayed and produced. Rumor has it that some of the new contract sales force started almost 30K over the company sales force.

The manager is great and we seem to launch products all the time although some of them are actually relaunches. Mid management is great and very fair. Not too sure about what is going on in NJ with the guys making the (way too) big bucks.

Overall the people are great and the benefits are pretty good.
 
Thanks for the excellent reply, it is appreciated. You mentioned salaries in your last post. What is the salary range for someone with 10+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience? Again, thanks for the replies.
 
It all depends on the type of experience and how well you did at your previous jobs...winners circle etc...so it is different for everyone. The manager is great to work for on that area!
