You would think it would be factored it but we are talking about Mona who probably feels if I change the cover of our sales aid but same the same things inside well than we can compete and not change the projections. Oh ya and if I tell the sales force we need to do better in Derm. Ya thats it thats all we need to do. Forget any good clinical studies that go head to head or allow us to show our Derms that Solaraze above all other brands is best w/ cryo. Ya no thats a bad idea lets just change the cover

So, do you think MD is freaking out, or will she just do another "beach-themed" sales aid? She's been working on this product far too long and is totally stale. Time for Pharmaderm to move on without her.

I doubt she is freaking out. She (and many other people) knew it was coming. People say that this brand has been poorly managed and blame her for it. If you step back, you'd see it is a $100 million brand, and there are very few that size in dermatology. Is Picato going to take sales and share? You bet. But even if Picato didn't come along, Solaraze was at the end of its runway. MD took this brand from $10 to $100 million. Not bad considering she had very little clinical support. And when Solaraze rides off into the sunset, you'll wish it was still here with all its challenges.

Yeah, Thanks Mona. Now go to work!

Mona took the brand 100 million. Where have you been Podiatry, Medicaid and off label took this brand to 100 million. Mona didnt want to go to Podiatry if you remember. So if it wasnt for Medicaid and Podiatry where would solaraze be. If you even listened to Mona at any of our meetings she concentrated on Derm unfortunately Solaraze tanked in Derm. So I think not Mona did nothing. If you want to thank the brand to getting to 100 million you just need to thank a few reps who found a niche and made it happen DESPITE MONA

She needs to stop worrying so much about Dunkin Donuts and more about Picato! They want derm business its gonna disappear. Thank God for their off label use, yet they bring in 2 whistleblowers to scare everyone. Very ridiculous. Putting the onus on the reps to dare walk into a pod or an IM knowing what they are writing it for but saying its your fault if you do. Whole thing was so ridiculous.
