OK how many more months are we supposed to go with bad data. Polaris has been way off for well over a year. We keep hearing that we are now seeing incentive grade data and that Snapshot should better reflect Polaris. OK well March Snapshot just came out and it is not even close to Polaris. I can understand a few % points but 15-20% is crazy. Go from well over 100% attainment in Polaris to the mid 80's with Snapshot is a joke. Even the reports from RM & DM don't match.

People who don't understand the intricacies of data,
Polaris has completely different business rules than Snapshot. How on earth do you expect them to match? Polaris is a business directional tool while Snapshot has a different purpose. You should be trying to use the numbers rather than checking them across each other and finding discrepancies.

The DM out of Montgomery, AL told her District that she never looks at Polaris, only SNAPSHOT. But if a team had a bad week on Polaris, she is all over them, yelling, threatening, manipulating field trip reports.... She must know what she's doing because she says that unlike other DMs in the Area, SHE develops All Stars, so I can't wait until the 2011 All Stars are announced!! I be going on a trip

Yes I am!!! 'Cause my DM's constantly saying that she makes All Stars and she bitches and carries on like a mad woman treating people like crap!! So if she can treat people that way and get away with it, then it must be because she makes All Stars!! I am not prejudiced. I am an English major, or was, until I joined this nuthouse. How one communicates is important, and people should not be posting messages like that on this company-focused site. It gives the reading audience a poor impression of the company? Are you for real? The reading audience IS the company, and we know what a f**ked up place this is. I was an English major, too. BFD! Do you know anything about dialect? Have you ever read Mark Twain? Would you say his prose gives a poor impression of the American South after the Civil War? Can you distinguish sarcasm? That was the poster's intent. That his micromanaging DM was such an All-Star creator that he was guaranteed to go on a trip. It was sarcasm.
