Let's try it again. I noticed this message board spikes the truth about Alcon's leaders. I'll start the stupidity. When PhysioIOL and Zeiss launched their trifocals, Alcon's top brains said they posed no threat to Alcon's bifocals. Then they watched ReSTOR die in Europe. So Alcon hired a university professor to consult on Alcon's trifocal, Panoptix. Alcon rushed Panoptix to CE mark without a comprehensive clinical trial and launched in Europe. Of course, Alcon was sued for patent infringement. The details are covered up by the lawyers, but the lawsuits may still be going on. Now Alcon is being sued by J&J for software piracy and Hoya for injector piracy. Alcon stupidity never dies.
