Interview lined up, looking for insight into the company/role. From previous threads, sounds like a lot of moving parts with the company and Fanapt, but no new info recently.

Curious what the base pay for the role is, company car, etc. and how Fanapt has been doing market-share wise with new indication.

BID med for Schiz/BP seems like a tough sell. Also see new med in pipeline for BP/Schiz and possibly MDD.

Fanapt has really bad numbers. Old drug, poor messaging (Controlled by CEOs family). Quintupled the sales force and the needle hasn't moved. The pipeline drug is just metabolized Fanapt. Fanapt is coming off patent protections soon too.
All the directors and VPs have quit over the last year.

Thank you! That's what I figured. Disappointing to hear that about pipeline drug, seems like they will just basically try to remarket fanapt with it and start over.

It’s a job. Do like most and come here for the pay check while you continue your job search. Hell a year is a year and can be a nice bridge job.
 


Sales force ,to be doubled soon
300 reps, territory partners , sales director just left out of the blue was here like 4 months , good benefits, Audi company car, top base pay is 130K, good bonuses if you do well, selling Fanapt is a bitch though. Top rep each quarter makes 40K just for that quarter. I think target bonus is 30K per yr. 50 out of 150 reps last quarter made 0 bonus though because their territory’s did not grow 1 script, only paid on Growth quarter over quarter

Thats a lot of reps haha any reason behind the expansion? Gearing up before the new med or are they trying to squeeze as much out of Fanapt as they can? Overall seems like a solid role for what I’m looking for.

Take the job, network into doctors, and immediately start looking for your next role.

Just Fanapt, there are territories around the country that get less than 10 fanapt scripts a week

I’ve already completed all of my interviews, I’m just waiting to get an offer. How long after your last interview was it before you got an offer and if you don’t mind me asking, what base did they start you out at?

What a lousy attitude. For anyone reading these posts, it’s typically one disgruntled employee or former employee that comes on here and rips the company.

Ok yeah one person. Check the company turnover dumb ass. It’s off the charts and nobody stays here beyond 1 yr. So what does that tell you moron?
