Purdue then Insys? Really?!?!

People out there with Purdue then Insys on resumes. Execs down to reps. How in the living hell you gonna hire any of those dirt bags who bankrupted and pushed opioids for quotas. Sad thing is none of them even think they did anything wrong. If you can get a job with that shit on your resume then maybe there’s hope for a hobo on a train to be an astronaut.

The world is upside down.

ex Purdue and Insys employees saying that they were just “Doing your jobs”-i.e., single handedly contributing to the greatest pharmaceutical crisis in history. Loss of life, costs, incarcerations, family’s utterly destroyed, etc. This is the problem with these folks they don’t think they are culpable in anyway, this is why you CAN NOT HIRE THEM. They will do it again and have no shame in it. Why stop when your innocent, right? Ex-nazi’s that were rounded up and arrested in the 1950’s and 60’s said the same thing, they were just “doing their jobs”. If you find one of them that offers a sincere apology and admittance to their being involved in a legalized cartel I’ll show you 50 that say the opposite and claim that they were just helping others in pain! Saeed, BJ, EK, DP (to name just a few) should have a permanent bans from the industry.

BJ DP Saeed and EK will forever be sought out for future employment. These guys are geniuses.

To the person who started this post - there were some bad people involved in both organizations, but don’t be blind to the fact that there were many good people who worked for these two companies as well. Most of the people who worked at Insys and Purdue operated in a compliant manner, and never broke the law. I feel for the families who were hurt by some of the bad individuals involved at Insys and Purdue, and I’m glad that justice has been served to some degree.

Ahhhh, yes. The old “good people on both sides” argument. Sure thing. If you’re stupid enough to not know that you’re participating in a business model that wants to increase usage of some of the most addicting medicines on earth and convince doctors they are “safe” then you don’t belong in the industry. There was a number of fails in the system HCPs, pharmacists, distributors, insurance companies, and even law enforcement. But if you’re trying to give the “good people” at Purdue and/or Insys a free pass then again you’re lying to yourself or you’re stupid. Either way you should probably sell insurance or boats.

A BIG NO HIRE VOTE FOR ME

You sound like a very angry individual. Probably someone who was passed over for a promotion. Year after year. Company after company. You don’t have what it takes to be elite, but you flap your gums as if you do. A bench player talking like a starter. I pity you.

Just do what Alec did and update your LinkedIn page telling the world the truth, that you are still God's Gift to Sales. Act now industry leaders, since his services will be in high demand. Read it for your self on his self proclaimed "Who Am I" fact sheet along with his fabulous resume, littered with all his accolades and accomplishments. He wants to be your guy!!! Hire him now to take your organization to the next level by building strong teams that truly know how to sell in any situation or in any environment under his leadership and fail proof methodology.

I completely understand why “anonymous” wrote to disparage Alec. He’s a very witty writer. I get where he is coming from. And I wish that I could communicate more effectively on where Alec is coming from. He made mistakes. He deeply regrets what has been done. He will do better. Don’t take my word for it. Watch! He will work hard to prove worthy, to restore his reputation, and to make amends for the harm he has done. Some day, “Anonymous” may even be as transparent as Alec has chosen to be.

Two questions
Which relative of yours was a junkie?
Or
Which “All About The Benny’s” law firm are you from?

If you believe that profile to be that of the real Alec Burlakoff - you’re not very bright. I pity you,my friend.

So what you're saying is that someone figured out how to log into his active LinkedIn profile that has been public for years and not only post this "hollier than thou sales pitch letter", but to also update his resume and post that as well? Why the heck would you protect this greedy Jew bastard that threw so many under the bus to protect himself. Let me guess, you're probably a Trump supporter aren't you? You are the one we pity.

So once again the board comes alive. It seems to have a life of it's own, though without any discernable purpose. There was a time when important information passed through this venue. When hearts and minds were changed . When consequential revelations moved the cause of justice a bit closer day by day. Those were difficult times for many of us. To see that for others they were the "glory days", confirms what we already knew about the evil that lives in the hearts of those responsible for the tragedy that was Insys.

I don't know if there is a final day of reckoning. I doubt it. Accountability can be assigned but responsibility must be accepted. It's ultimately settled, (or not) between you and whoever is looking back from your mirror.

My advice? Move on with your lives. Strive to do something good. Redemption comes softly and lightly, often unexpectedly. We can't really earn it, but there's dignity and grace in the attempt and isn't that the most any of us can reasonably hope for.
