I'm hearing all manner of rumors (anything from 10% to the 50+% above), some of which would mean exiting certain types of business altogether. So with that in mind, unless I hear something from someone who is either French or Italian, I'm not going to read too much into it.

Just do yourself a favour and start looking for another job to be safe. LOL, you're waiting for those 2 guys to tell you something??? Can you say they've been 100% honest with the employees the last 2 years?

Wasn't meaning about any assurances from anyone; more thinking of projects getting mothballed/axed and work being outsourced (i.e. the kind of stuff where it can be clear how things are shaping up, and how business will be conducted). And as far as who/what/how many get cut, all roads will lead back to those two one way or another.

I'm thinking a whole lot of people were working on the resumes this weekend.
