As a sign of things to come....remember the payout multiplier was a record low this year. Annua increases could be nixed to force more people to leave JNJ.
Best case, don't expect more than about 2% for scoring a "5", meeting expectations or scoring a "4" will likely get you no more than about 1% or 1.5%
If you have peformed brilliantly and are loved by all 3 to 3.5% increase would be a spectacular annual increase separate from a promotion. The biggest increase among my colleagues I saw last year was 3.6% ... this yaer will likely be much lower.
Remember, last year the top end of bands were LOWERED. That may happen again this year . . . if you are in the affected group your separate check for the difference wont be payable until mid-year (last year it was paid up front).
