Reality Check

I’ve had zero turnover in the district I’m in and I’ve been here for two years! My manager is great and I love my job. Look at CR’s LinkedIn and you’ll realize he didn’t have the experience to run a sales force. PC on the Ponvory side was never home and took a job where he didn’t have to travel as much. Change happens at every company. Vanda pays reps extremely well considering some have no pharma experience. No other company will even give those candidates a look. If you don’t like Vanda, I dare you to go to big pharma where you’ll have DEI shoved down your throat and promotions are made based on your pronouns. Or you can sit through a big pharma DEI workshop where they tell you you’re inherently racist because of your skin color. I’ll stick with Vanda any day where they don’t intrude on your personal freedoms. A healthy base salary, an Audi, a gas card, bonus, a cool sales force made up of great people, health insurance, a 401k? Sounds like a pretty good deal to me! Is it perfect? No. No company is. But Vanda is growing and moving in the right direction. For people to go on here and bad mouth the company is sad. Everyone is a tough guy when they sit behind a keyboard and a computer screen. The reality is the managers are good and reps are happy. No, it’s far from perfect, but it’s better than most places. Vanda gave so many of us a chance. We were either right out of college or maybe unemployed. Maybe a little gratitude is in order and you should appreciate what you have. I honestly think Vanda is refreshing. I’ve been at other big Pharma companies and I’ll never go back. For anyone thinking of joining Vanda, you’ll like it here. There’s a reason why “competitors reps” are applying for our job openings. They’d rather be here than at the big pharma place where you’re just a number. I hope you have a great day and I hope this helps to all who are unsure.

Do they pay for your flight/hotel expense for training?

Agreed. If you’re a liberal and voted for Kamala, you won’t like it at Vanda. This isn’t that kind of place.

I'm a long term big Pharma veteran and have been here for 3 years. I have so much gratitude for the base pay (super generous), awesome insurance plan, unlimited PTO, nice car, wonderful family-lke culture and a great manager. It's not perfect but the company makes it easy to do your best and enjoy these terrific benefits. Don't hesitate to take a job here, you will love it! For lack of better words it feels good working for Vanda. If you are complaining about it here you probably have not worked for over companies or are a poor performer.

Companies with nothing to hide post their salary range with the job posting. That’s called transparency…. Something this 3 ring circus obviously does not get. What’s the salary range? We’re giving you a chance to step up here!
This is a useless question unless you specify experience and location. 70-120 salary if I had to guess.

Hey dummy, most companies now post their salary range with the job posting for public record. Saves all parties involved lots of time. Damn you’re a backwards behind the times moron just like Vanda.

There is older veteran reps 20yrs in industry making 135k base
While younger reps right out of college
Probably 50/60K base.
Both have target bonus of 30k a yr
Damn well that explains why company is NOT transparent with salaries. Comp sucks here big time. Also explains why Vanda is used as a bridge job.

Elaborate on what’s wrong with pay structure, the low end of the pay range are literally people that just graduated college their first job ever and you get a company car Audi. Anyone that applies with pharma experience will be between that 70 and 135 range depending on experience.

You are as dumb as dirt. Do a salary survey ya clown.

You’re an angry dwarf! What’s your problem bro? Go on LinkedIn and not all jobs post the salary range. Sounds like you’re the one with a low IQ and anger issues. You sound like a former disgruntled employee that got out before it got good. Or maybe we didn’t hire you and you’re mad. Kudos to the hiring manager for realizing that you’re a rotten person. I’d give that DM a high five for passing on you. As a matter of fact, I bet you’re the candidate that texts my manager once a week asking if they made a hiring decision on you.

I can’t make this stuff up with your stupidity. Most Pharma companies now post salary ranges for a given job posted on their company website. Nobody said anything about LinkedIn you mental dwarf. high 5 eh pal… who gives those still? Again you are stuck in yesteryear clown. Wake up it’s for your own good. Vanda is an entry level job.
