Recalls

There will only be a recall if it can really screw us over and open the door for all our competitors. If not, then will it will be reduced to say, oh 10. And lets not forget to do it when you want to go on vacation at Christmas and are sweating your numbers.

Or how about recalls that require an adjustment to comp to "look out for the reps". When the tacker was taken out of the bag the adjustment turned out to be a pay cut. How lucky we are to have the mothership looking out for us. It makes me feel all warm and cozy inside.

Drop everything to contact all hospitals about the latest drain recall the last selling week of the quarter. When I would have been making sure orders are getting in for the quarter I'm working with my hospitals to get them through this disruption as I should be. But don't tell me that it doesn't affect my compensation. We aren't children. We're smart enough to know that we are getting screwed. We would respect the company more if it would tell us we're getting screwed and not insult our intelligence.

Solution here is pretty friggin simple, go to work for Ascent/Stryker, make more money, sell product at half off, QUIT DRINKING THE COOL AID BOYS. Credo Nothing! 50 Recalls in 15 months, its on the front cover of Bloomberg Business Week. We are screwed.
