This is a sad statement, because minus the sarcasm, it’s absolutely true. There is and always has been illegal collusion between our two entities almost since their inception and the FTC turns a blind eye intentionally because of the massive lobbying power that has been wielded. This is the final solution to the independent lab problem. The question has been answered.
quest is just a middleman. Overbilling lawsuits left and right because smaller in house labs just run the fricking confirmation first round instead of tacking on more and more bills and sending patients to collections!!! And your 48,000 employees cant even answer the damn phone or get back to anyone without a few days notice. My doctors hate quest but are literally cartelled into being stuck with us!
