I have found that just waiving my insurance card in the hospital gets me anywhere I want.

I think there was some confusion, this is not to be seen as a patient but to sell medical devices.

It's similar to VendorClear. Costs anywhere from $150 to $500 depending on the departments you're going to be visiting. I just wish I had thought this ruse up. Somebody got the bright idea that sales reps cannot be trusted in medical facilities (including offices) and all of a sudden, poof, there are companies out there that charge pharma/med device companies fees to allow the rep to get into the facilities. The companies guarantee that the rep goes through a rigorous background check, when in fact, all it does is require a letter from the rep's company stating the rep is reputable. And of course, the hospitals get a little on the side from these companies as well. It's a great gimmick.
