Are you serious? They are doing an entire reorg internally and for the field. This is said with the utmost respect but first and foremost those who are currently working for the company I hope they have a freaking job. Enjoy your pension. You posted on the reorg thread. Did you even read the comments? Have some EQ the fuck?!

Now they are taking our gym benefit away too (for those under 65). Retirees should know this is a defined benefit plan so no cost of living changes. I do feel bad for the 75+ crowd though as wages have more than doubled for most employees since they retired.
 


Not only that but the annual increase to the retiree HSA don't even come close to keeping up with the various insurances we are expected to buy through Via Benefits.

We have as much sympathy for you as we do for government bureaucrats losing their jobs. Welcome to the same reality the rest of us have dealt with for years.

You may not feel bad, but I do. At some point, every one of us will be at retirement age. I would like to make sure our elderly are taken care of

I know, right? This is almost too good to be true. Many of us so-called elites are already flush with Lilly stock, which is pretty well hedged against inflation. Now Trump is imposing tariffs and Congress are cutting Medicare/Medicaid to pay for our tax cut. Hopefully Social Security will be next, we don't need it anyway. We're set.

If this doesn't describe you, and you voted for the party currently in power, allow me to be the first to say thanks for taking one for the team! This was all in plain sight before the election, but it was pretty easy to get you to ignore it. All we had to do was put BLM signs in our front yards and pronouns in our e-mail signatures.

There are ZERO plans to cut Medicaid, Medicare, or Social Security. Fraud in these programs will be eliminated and rightfully so.

People spreading these lies should stop watching Rachel Maddow and find a better source for information.

I predict that there will be cuts throughout our government, just not right away. Fraud will be found and areas of our government will be privatized. Fraud will be the impetus for privatization. Ultimately, the private companies/company will focus on profits at the expense of the citizens. It's straight out of an oligarch playbook.

If it's a lie then I will go back to not voting. I researched Project 2025 and voted enthusiastically for it, even though I despise Trump. Sucks to be you if you didn't read the fine print. These social welfare programs need to be privatized (to boost my stock portfolio) or eliminated entirely (to pay for my tax cut). The only thing I don't like about Project 2025 is that it doesn't eliminate the capital gains tax. I have a bunch of Lilly shares granted in 2010 with a cost basis of $32, why should I have to pay taxes for all these handouts?

its like X-mas every day, under the tree today is a national sales tax (tarriffs) on working class and seniors, money flowing into the treasury to pay for my tax cut. you guys rock
