There is a path forward with changes if you are working with an attorney. No one had been told no yet. If someone is able to get changes… please let us know what they change for you!Do you have confirmation that they will not change? TrueYour naivete is heartbreaking. The entire industry in on fire right now and there are probably 250 people who would crawl over broken glass to fill your spot.
Novartis knows this, and they will proceed accordingly. If you think making you sign a non-compete, that they probably wouldn't bother to enforce, is the worst thing they will do to you, you are obviously new here.
Of course, it is arrogant and completely unprofessional to ask you to do it after you've been hired, but literally everything senior management does here is arrogant and completely unprofessional.
A year from now you won't even remember they did this, because they will have embarrassed themselves a half-dozen times in far more egregious ways than this.

Already overly micromanaged with fake and phoney leadership.They just promoted someone from Cosentyx to be the RLT general manager, that should tell you everything about this franchise. People making decisions at the top who haven’t a clue about RLT. We are living in a clown world.
