I applied for an ecosystem role and have director, oncology, urology and prostate experience. What gives? I heard your head of sales doesn’t even have this experience.

It’s off putting to be forced to listen to leaders brag about ai, co-pilot and technology. It’s impersonal and inhumane. You didn’t hire robots, stop treating us like one

This place will continue to do things that make the feel smart about themselves. They hire EDs from tech companies and act like they are innovative. Then they promote them and pat themselves in the back. Worse yet the people that have been here obeying the rules for a decade get passed over.

So people that have been here suckling the t just get promoted? Why?

This company made such a big deal of the reps having prostate or urology experience last expansion, yet you surround us with leaders and high level roles and they have no clue. Thanks for mass marketing the crap out of this once unique opportunity. Mgr’s treating us like primary care reps and directors who couldn’t give two craps about what we deal with everyday. Your answer of noncompete and then district goals is beyond tone deaf.

Oh look, Novartis is employing the same strategy that has run the CRM division and Leqvio right into an iceberg. They don’t learn very fast, do they?
They just had to displace hundreds of reps because Leqvio wasn’t carrying itself, yet managed to displace many of the reps in territories that were carrying their areas and regions. Now a lot of reps who weren’t pulling their weight remain. That’s the result of those district or area goals! Too much focus on metrics, field rides, and “upskilling,” not enough focus, recognition, or pay on sales.

Get rid of SAMs who were Associate Directors. Now we have 11 Ecosystem Director, 5 MA Engagement guys, RALs, and more ADARs. So much simplification. And despite the huge price increase, sales just barely above last year. Amazing work by the HQ folks!!

NVS loves to add layer upon layer of people who know nothing about the account, needs all the intel from the reps and then takes the credit to justify their job. We’d rather just have the SAMs back, we have no idea what the end game is, but it’s a colossal screw up.
