Salary range for MS Reps?

would hate to take pay cut!!!

So long as we do not hire Buyogen job hoppin reps. Bad reputations with mile long resumes. More than two companies in 10 years and you are out! Many jump jump jump but wont be jumping on here. They suck azz. I have already placed a separate trash can by my desk. 'there goes another resume in the can, all day long'.

What is the expected salary range for the new MS reps?
Serious replies only -thank you!
.
You won't take a pay cut, trust me. Also don't expect a 50% raise. As with most Pharma companies you can expect a 10-15% raise. Companies usually don't want to give you too much of a bump in pay. Avg bonus across Genentech sales was around 40k. Above average benefits with a company car or car allowance option. You will either love the culture or hate it. It is a highly educated company, for better or worse. One of the best pipelines in the industry.

I was told that the car allowance is no longer offered. Is that true?

please share anything about the culture - good, bad

Car allowance is offered, there is a whole thread on here somewhere about it. Bottom line if you have a cheap car and drive a ton of miles its worth it otherwise not. With MS territories being relatively small company car might be better, depending on where you live.

Hey you wanna be Genentech MS reps from outside the company - it's pretty clear from your posts on here that you really aren't the caliber we are looking for here from the questions your asking or the gripes you have about salary. Stay where you are if you have any doubts, there are plenty of solid, experienced reps here who would love to have a shot at one of these positions, but who know that the leadership wants at least 50% with MS experience.

You will either love it or hate it. Most people love it. Genentech spends a lot of money on people development. Very highly educated employees but the home office folks change jobs a lot. Promotions are usually competitive but "old boy" network not anywhere near as bad as I have seen elsewhere. No one really knows what the MS team culture will be yet. From what I have heard so far they are trying to do everything right.
