Are the salary ranges real? CR rep to 150k and SAE up to 200k? Look at the posts for CA and NY. Is anyone making close to that?

That is your fault for being a long term employee with no RSUs at a cheap private company. The salary ranges here are ridiculous and demoralizing to long term employees. If you’re not job hopping you’re underpaid.
I’m sure the Pulse Survey results will reflect this followed by lip service and promises to listen.
Job hopping? It is securing your retirement. Published data: changing jobs every two years an employee will earn more than a million dollars more in career. The salary ranges here are ridiculous and demoralizing to long term employees. If you’re not job hopping you’re underpaid.

Agreed. Love to see people leave for more. I love it when the company could have paid someone an extra 15 or 20 and has to hire and train someone for an extra 50. They’ll never learnJob hopping? Never too late to leave. It will take a bit in this market but start looking. Better than a 3% raise and micromanagement from sexist MAGA bros stuck in 1980s pharma mentality running a “hot chicks” cafepharma thread. It is just ridiculous how much pay compression is accepted here… my manager told me that he didn’t know the pay band ! Such BS … I have stayed too long .. should have job hopped ..
Resigning March 14th. Can’t wait.Never too late to leave. It will take a bit in this market but start looking. Better than a 3% raise and micromanagement from sexist MAGA bros stuck in 1980s pharma mentality running a “hot chicks” cafepharma thread.
Your manager is right. HR leadership doesn’t publish pay bands. It is just ridiculous how much pay compression is accepted here… my manager told me that he didn’t know the pay band ! Such BS … I have stayed too long .. should have job hopped ..
Many states require the band be published for pay transparency. Look up openings for your role in those states. If not published report the listing.Your manager is right. HR leadership doesn’t publish pay bands.
And there is a method to their madness. They’d be fine with people job hopping. Allows them to bring someone else in at a lower salary. A senior rep making $155,000 plus IC is a lot more expensive than a new PCP rep making $120,000. that $35K adds up.
Lilly went with a similar approach a few years ago. Lay off the tenured reps and hire new ones who are young and can be had for a much lower salary.
The managers haven’t know the ranges in years. Some people like the consistency with their job and stay….others prefer to jump around. As long as you stay 3 years at a job I don’t think it hurts you.It is just ridiculous how much pay compression is accepted here… my manager told me that he didn’t know the pay band ! This is a truth for any company. Loyalty typically doesn’t pay. I’ve never understood why BI isn’t more assertive yet when people leave they are willing to pay tens of thousands more for a new hire. The salary ranges here are ridiculous and demoralizing to long term employees. If you’re not job hopping you’re underpaid.

Jump up jump up and get down. The managers haven’t know the ranges in years. Some people like the consistency with their job and stay….others prefer to jump around. As long as you stay 3 years at a job I don’t think it hurts you.
Never known a competent manager that did not know the band for a role they are filling. The managers haven’t know the ranges in years. Some people like the consistency with their job and stay….others prefer to jump around. As long as you stay 3 years at a job I don’t think it hurts you.
In some states it’s known because they can disclose it. In some it is not known where they don’t disclose it. HR are useless and don’t communicate bands in states that are not required to disclose. Most of HR are by the book on everything.Never known a competent manager that did not know the band for a role they are filling.
BI has hard ons for external hires. They could care less about their own. There is zero loyalty and will pay you the least amount they have to. As soon as you realize they don’t give a shit about their own the better off you will be.The bottom of the pay band went up 20%! My little 2.5% merit increase is BS..
If the market demands higher pay for new hires, doesn’t that also reflect an increased value for existing employees in the exact same roles?
What is the highest merit increase given ? Presumably top 10% in PC …
