Sales direction via text messages

Sales direction, messaging, and targeting direction is being sent from management to the reps via cell phone text messaging here in the CNS WEST Region. My manager said this is so it can not be tracked like regular emails or voice mail. I think this is a breach of our corporate integrity agreement and not ethical. Management should be using normal methods to communicate. I have several text messages I would like to turn over to the appropriate authorities but not sure how to do it. I don't trust that management or hr will do the right thing with it so I would like to directly report it to the goverment.

don't be silly.

Texts can be tracked.

You or someone else is making this sht up.

Turn them over to the ethics hotline if you're really concerned.

If you do and it results in a fine, you get part of the fine. Why are you tipping them off about it here? Document the message hard copy and send it to one of the lawyers that advertise here! Go for it dude -- www.whistleblower-claims.com

It is your duty to report any violations under the corporate integrity agreement to the ethics hotline. If a communication violates the CIA, by whatever means, that communication should be reported. If is implied that the intent is to minimize detection of a possible violation through specific communications, that intent should also be reported.

take a photo of the text. where you can see who sent it, when and what it said.
I have the option to forward a text to an e-mail, but it doesn't forward who it came from...
so taking a picture is what I would do!

Good for you you whiny fuck! You are such an excited victim!

Same type of thing in the SE Region. Definite direction to stay away from normal avenues of communication so things can't be tracked.

This is a wink wink, and a very dangerous road to travel given the CIA. The reality is that any message you can see, hear, or read, can be recorded or tracked. Making the assumption that there is a safer communications pathway with potentially damaging communications could lead managers to taking chances and putting AZ and its stakeholders at risk. The Ethics Hotline is easily available and one can post a concern on it anonymously. A cease and desist would be recommended.

When will they learn?

Take your information to a U.S. Attorney or go to the Dept. of Justice website and notify them there. When will AZ learn you ask?? When the DOJ bars them from doing business with the Federal government. Not until then. I know several senior reps (myself included) that are sitting on some very interesting information and will use it only if necessary. Kind of like an insurance policy against abuse at the hands of AZ.

You guys are all tied up with the text.

It doesn't matter what form it takes. No DOJ or otherwise cares about how, it's about what.

No one gives a shit if it's text or email. It's trackable.

BUT, all direction to the field needs to go through internal review. If it's reviewed it's legal and no-one cares how you get it.

If it's not reviewed and gives direction, heads will roll.

Yeah really. Like the rep on here talking about LTC shit about two weeks ago. Too late for that. You sitting on your ass is what.

Anything you post to the ethics line may as well be on a billboard. HR and the ethics line are a joke. I was in HR, I really dont care if you believe me but never expect internal measures to do the right thing
