proof that all the info on here is just shorts spreading garbage about sequenom. illston's ruling will not hold up in court. she was told to re-do this decision before. judge radar cited the myraid ruling as 1 of many reasons. then she says becuase of the myraid ruling the patent is invalid !!! LMAO she's either totally incompetent or doing favors. either way she should be investigated.

How much are you willing to bet? This ruling will not be overturned! You can look at the Mayo case that went to the supreme court, Myraid case sited as well to the genomic health case. These patents are not standing with the laws of interpretation.

On a side note I do not agree with these ruling however it is a fact. Companies are not going to advance science if they cannot be protected by patents to recoup their money. What company is going to invest in the science, as our company did, to allow the NAT, ARO, and VAR of the would to swoop in and reep the benefits?
 
NIPT is now a commodity and low price is the only thing that matters. Expect SQNM to cut costs like crazy and try to sell the company. In other words get your resume ready.
 
the federal court appeal will soon be done
the federal judge sees things clearer, as he is smarter
like last time he will invalidate the district order
maybe even not remand and reverse but ORDER ITSELF
