These duds that work here will never reinvent themselves or start a company they excel at nothing but knowing how to follow a pre populated routing plan, say a scripted message, order lunch and enter a call with notes into the computer. They will always work for the man and do what they are told. They will always live an ordinary 9 to 5 life and not mind having an iPad and gas card. They are so grateful to have their paycheck because they know without this job they would not be able to feed their family. These dudes will update their resume and interview for the same job, in the same field knowing that the industry has been in a decline for a number of years and the job is not what it once was. These jobs will sit around telling any person that listens how they are a victim of AA that was laid off. They will never strive to be the AA or put themselves in a position where they are self employed and will never have to go through a layoff again. These people will alway be in the same type of car- company paid and think they are on top of the world. They think that free gas and insurance is worth more than their dignity. They do not have a creative bone in their body and just live life following a script. The wife, the job and the children. These people have no idea how to live- they only exist.
 


To the above poster, you hit the nail right on the head. However, I am sure some whah baby will comment on how cruel your words are and attack. You're right about interviewing for same job at different company, however, you need to input that whatever company they go to they will eventually be dumped as that is the unfortunate trend in pharma. I've been through it 2x before.

These duds are glutton for punishment but don't even know it. They just can't wait to get another company car so they sign on with any bozo company that offers. They don't know how to change it up or move on. They live stuck in the past. Everyone in my region had sob stories about how they were laid off from their last company blah, blah, blah. Most people had 3 or more pharma companies on their resume because it was not the first time they were laid off or downsized and they were still back for more. Lay me off once shame on you, Lay me off twice shame on me. Get a new damn career people. Pharma hey day ended over 5 years ago. Did you go to college to drop off packages, deliver lunches and collect signatures? I don't think you majored in that so but on your big boy pants go on and buy a car like 99.9% of working human beings do and don't rely on a job to drive you, your wife and the kids around. Nothing is free in life not even the gas & insurance you pride yourself on getting. Everything has a price. Did you ever look around your sales room and see all these desperate, used car sales man type people pushing hear attack drugs and wonder Why me? Why am I doing this with my life? If you did not wonder it even for a split second you are brain dead.
