some questions

Hey Guys! I'm a new(ish) PDM and I am really excited to be here! I do have some questions since my manager hasn't given me direct answers so I thought I would try this board. I am very eager to find out;

why is it with the new software, the offices have to enter how many cycles each patient was assessed for and not what they actually did? ex- if a patient is assessed for 12 cycles but can only afford 3 and actually only DO 3, the office still enters 12 even though that amount wasn't really completed. why?

why is it that at the end of every quarter our sales reports are "unavailable" for a full week and when they are available again, the numbers are way off?

why do I have to lie in Salesforce and make my forecast much higher than what I know my accounts will actually do?

when I look at CoolConnect and directly communicate with my offices to calculate how many cycles they did per month, those cycles don't match with the company provides me with? (this is the total number for the month)

and if the company is calculating my paycheck based on cycles utilized, why dont they share the details of those numbers with me?

thank you for any feedback here. it is greatly appreciated! I hope everyone is having a great quarter working for the number ONE company! woo hoo!!

I don't understand the patient numbering system in the software either. Nobody seems to actually buy the # cycles they're assessed for, so I don't know why we out the assessed # in instead of the actual # patient has agreed to.

I also don't understand the CoolConnect reports... The #'s don't match up for me either. I've been here for a while and our comp plan changed this year- before your time we were paid on card sales, not utilization. It's well into the second quarter and we still aren't clear on where the company is getting the #'s or how we are paid the commission piece.

Anyone have any insight here?

And good luck!

Here is a simple explanation for all of the above questions.

The company is dishonest about the numbers they provide for the reps paychecks and the numbers they provide investors.

I'm getting really sick and tired of having to lie about my numbers, being harassed at all hours, and listening to people telling me how to do my job when they have never done it themselves, and all for the salary of a recent college graduate. Bye Zeltiq! I'll continue to share your shady tactics with investors until you fire me. Then i'll just sue for harassment like so many others are going to.

why doesn't the company share the utilization break down? somehow they are able to calculate my paycheck from it and post articles for the press on the amount of cycles completed which are fabricated anyway, yet when I ask for the specific numbers calculated in my paycheck all I hear is "we are working on it".

you can "work on" hiring replacements for all the reps that are leaving which ends up costing you more than just being HONEST and RETAINING EMPLOYEES. dickwads.

I have heard some pretty awful stories but no one works for a more unethical company than zeltiq. that's for sure!
good night all y'all who read this board and nod your heads in silence.

Annnnnnnnd AGAIN!!!! So predictable. our "systems are down" the last week of the quarter. Zeltiq, you make it way too obvious every quarter that you're messing with our numbers.
just TRY for ONE quarter, just ONE to be honest about the numbers!!! geez!!!

I've only been here for less than a year and I am not complaining but I do notice that after our system went down at the end of the quarter, my numbers were much higher than they were in reality. I even double checked with my accounts. My numbers are fabricated. I'm not saying anything though because I know I will get fired if I do. Am I the only one?
